Description

Branched flower clusters yield lots of gorgeous, daisylike, snow-white blooms with yellow centres. Plush, semi-double, 11″ flowers open on long, strong, smooth stems that are perfect for snipping. Plants form an attractive, upright clump with deep green, glossy, lance-shaped leaves that are carried the length of the stalk. Blooms until late falllong after most other perennials shut down. Versatile enough to perform well in borders, containers, rock gardens or as ground cover. Alluring to butterflies, hummingbirds and bees but generally avoided by foraging deer.Aster novi-belgii
